Held annually since 2004 and celebrated on all continents, it’s a day of worldwide exposure for surfing and a chance to celebrate the sport we all love. The event also encourages an environmentally friendly approach – to life and surf – with organized beach clean-ups and habitat restoration, as well as anti-sewage protests and demonstrations to help keep our waters clean.
This year Ultra Sport has teamed up with Bic Surf to mark the event by offering some brand new surfboards as prizes. Bic are supporters of Surfers Against Sewage, the UK-based non-profit organisation working to keep our coastlines free from sewage, toxins, marine litter and nuclear waste. When you purchase a Bic surfboard you can receive free membership to SAS.
