The Rhemagraphics Art of Surfing Show will be a celebration of the surfboard manufacturing industry, hopefully showcasing all boards of shape and size. The event is taking place to help out the Surfworld Museum and to celebrate the history of the surfing industry. So get your entries in.
After the success of the first Wooden Board Day at Currumbin Alley last August, Grant Newby (of Fish Fry fame) decided to organise another for Sunday 8th of August in the park across the road from the beach.
After waking up not so unusually late, my mood dropped with the sound of the rain on the roof on my van. I was shooting the 4th annual Alley Fish Fry on Australia’s Gold Coast, but I wasn’t going to allow a bit of rain to spoil the day. I’m a British surfer, goddammit, used to braving much worse conditions in search of a wave. This bit of drizzle was nothing to write home about.
