Boardmasters 2015 | Five weeks to go

With just five weeks to go Boardmasters have released a raft of big news on this year’s event including the launch of a brand new series of official ‘After Dark’ parties, taking over Newquay town. Running from Thursday to Sunday, across four different venues and featuring the likes of; DJ EZ, Wilkinson, Eton Messy, GotSome, Tazer, and Après.

Here is a quick rundown of what is on offer at Watergate Bay and Fistral beach at what is turning out to be the number one event in the UK surf calendar this year…

RELENTLESS BRINGS THE BEATS BACK TO BOARDMASTERS
The Point is one of the most iconic stages of the festival. Providing a picture perfect view over Watergate Bay, it’s the ultimate place to watch the sun go down and listen to some pumping tunes. This year, Relentless will be transforming the area and making it even cooler than before.The Point presented by Relentless will introduce a 360 degree music experience with a totally fresh feel, including dancing platforms with a view of the stage, increased levels of production and a few other little touches to make it even more awesome.

AFTER THE PARTY, THERE’S THE AFTER-PARTY
The Boardmasters festival just got a whole lot bigger, with a series of Official ‘After Dark’ parties, taking over Newquay town. Running from Thursday to Sunday, across four different venues and featuring the likes of; DJ EZ, Wilkinson, Eton Messy, GotSome, Tazer, Après, and many more. There will be a return bus service running till 4:30am, it is advised to buy tickets in advance…

This year Boardmasters are helping to protect the Cornish coastline and making steps towards creating a greener, cleaner festival! Trebelsue Farm, Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach combine to make a pretty awesome festival site – so it’s in our best interest to look after it. But to do this we need YOUR help.

This year the leading brand in plant nutrients, CANNA, will be bringing a brand new Midi Ramp to Boardmasters. The CANNA Midi Ramp offers 48ft of transition with a 5ft section, a 5.5ft section, a wicked gap and new 8ft section that will be throwing our home grown talent straight up into the air performing all kinds of trickery madness.
