St Agnes based fashion label Finisterre has been shortlisted in the fashion category for this year’s RSPCA Good Business Awards, which recognise ethical business approaches to animal welfare. Finisterre has been shortlisted alongside some of the biggest high street names including George @ ASDA, Tesco, New Look and M&S.

We’re getting from great waves over here in Spain. We’re currently on our way to the Salinas Surf Festival, meeting lots of people along the way and turning them onto the alaia. These photos of Tuesday’s session come courtesy of my friend Willy Uribe.
One of the most amazing bonuses of making these boards is that I get to meet (sometimes virtually, over email) the most incredible people, each of them stoked on life and the rush they get from surfing.

Having lived and surfed on the east coast, I still hold a torch that glows for the place. So when I watched Ollie Banks’s ‘Nine Hundred Miles’, it was a slide down memory lanes, as certain folk and standout spots came flooding back.
