The Resurf project is the first recycling programme for EPS core boards which have until now all ended up incinerated or in a landfill.
The team behind the project which is featured on Ulule.com crowd funding site, estimate that 1000 surfboards will make 430 brand spanking new foam blanks ready for shaping.
