Going The Distance…

British lifestyle brand Passenger was borne out of a September road trip to the South West coast of England; its founders wanted to create a relaxed style of clothing for people who love board sports, travel and exploring, and as a result spend hours on the road. Passenger Clothing’s top dog Richard Sutcliffe confirms the Passenger ethos: “we want to inspire people to find their own paths, push their boundaries and embrace their own journey, whatever that might be.”

[pullquote]Passenger isn’t, however, another surfing brand[/pullquote]

Based near the New Forest area, Passenger is situated a few minutes from the coast and the forest, with both of these elements offering a constant source of inspiration, visible in the bucolic campaign images. Despite this coastal influence, Passenger isn’t, however, another surfing brand. There are elements of surf style within the relaxed, versatile designs, but the main selling point is durability and comfort; an essential quality when considering the stress which clothing receives when travelling down the highways and byways.

As well as making original relaxed style clothing, Passenger also offer a real community feel. Head over to their site and you can discover a plethora of cool photography, music, videos and blog posts on everything they love; travel, adventure, creativity and living the simple life.
The photography used and the stories told come from employees and brand ambassadors. Check out their ‘Wandering Collection’ for inspiring stories and adventures from people traveling the globe. From Cape Town to Christchurch, the Rockies to Rio, it makes you want to be the passenger again.
