Portfolio - Droog79
Based out of Puerto Escondido by way of Bristol (yes, there’s hope for us all), Mr Droog is a super splendid illustrator/artist/creative dude currently living the life of Riley two blocks away from a nice lefthand point break. Dividing time between doodling and sliding seems pretty much perfect…
Create to dream

Frank Cubillos
Born in South America to a Cuban mother and a Colombian father, Frank caught his fist wave at Point Dume at the age of 14. He married the girl of his dreams, and three groms later he’s still surfing. Find out more at Frank’s blog.
Julie Goldstein
Born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1975, artist Julie Goldstein received a BFA in 1997 from the University of Connecticut at Storrs, including a semester in Florence. From 1998 to 1999, she undertook a printmaking and bookbinding independent study at Arizona State University in Tempe. In 2001, she received an MA at Columbia University Teachers College in New York City.
John Franks
John was born in Weymouth, England, in 1974, but has never actually lived there. He grew up in Bilbao, where his grandparents founded St George’s English School. His mum remarried following his dad’s death and the family moved to a small town on the outskirts of Bilbao, just five minutes from the beach. That’s when John caught the surfing bug.
