Paddle Round The Pier, the world’s biggest free beach and watersports festival, went off with a bang as hundreds of people took to the water in Brighton in all manner of vessels to raise money for three local charities.
The festival, now in its 19th year, that started life as a small paddle out with 50 surfers has now exploded into its modern day incarnation with well over 50,000 people attending each year.
