An Independent Scottish Surfing team hopes to make its international debut at the biggest surfing event in the ISA World Surfing Games History.
The Scottish team is seeking help on crowdfunder.co.uk to get to Peru and participate for the first time at the International Surfing Association World Games in Punta Rocas next month.
This year will be the 50th anniversary of the International Surfing Association (ISA) World Games and will be the first time that a Scotland team has had representation at such a level. The last time Scotland participated at an international level was at the EuroSurf competition in the early 1990s.The Scottish Surfing Federation hope to send a six person team to compete in the games which take place from the 24 October until 01 November.
