The Global Wave Conference aims to highlight the growing threats to waves and surfing habitats worldwide, facilitate global coastal environmental and sustainability initiatives, and increase leadership from the surfing community on the protection of waves, oceans, beaches and marine ecosystems. The event will cover issues including marine litter, climate change, water quality, surfonomics, surfing reserves, sustainable surfboard design, circular economy and blue health & wellbeing.
The event will be a unique learning and networking opportunity for those interested in sustainability and surfing, working in the environmental NGO sector or studying in relevant fields.
SAS are also delighted to be joined by three-time world champion Tom Curren, and big wave surfers Ramon Navarro, Greg Long and Brad Gerlach.
There are a very limited number of tickets available for delegates to join us on 12th & 13th October. We advise booking soon as there are only a small number of places available.
