UN/CROWDED - The swell of the year?

By Tom · On February 23, 2015

UN/CROWDED is a short movie featuring the Italian surfer Roberto D’amico during the ‘swell of the year’ in the north of Italy.

The film focuses on a trip up north when conditions were absolutely firing for the whole three days. It was considered by many as the best conditions of the year but hundreds of surfers were onto the same tip and the waves were crowded to say the least.

The jewel was discovered - a desert beach with a perfect right-hander

Fortunately, the perfect juxtaposition was found when the team moved along the coast. The jewel was discovered - a desert beach with a perfect right-hander breaking really close to the rocks.

Perfect barrels and empty waves made this place perfect for an epic uncrowded session. Locals told the director Alessandro Dotti that these were the best days of the last two years.
