Women’s Wonderlust takes Passenger in new directions

By Tom · On April 6, 2016

Passenger has announced the launch of its first range specifically designed for women. Echoing the brand’s love of the ocean and coastal adventures, the Women’s Wanderlust range is a collaboration of simplicity and functionality.

Offering a host of feel good essentials, including relaxed vests, effortless tees, lightweight sweats and summer cover-ups, the new capsule collection is now available online at www.passenger-clothing.com

Turning its attention to womenswear, Passenger’s introductory range blends strong, textured fabrics with soft, effortless cottons. Incorporating neutral tones with flashes of deep reds and ocean blues, the range features colour washed finishes and sun bleached effects.

Designed for women who are continually exploring, the understated nature of the new Wanderlust range perfectly captures the carefree essence of the brand.

Signature pieces from this season’s collection include the Moroccan Pocket Tee, boasting a loose fit and a sprinkling of colourful stripes, the boyfriend inspired Wanderlust Sweat, exudes campfire cosiness, and the Nautical Stripe Vest, perfect for everyday styling.

Introducing the first line of Turkish Towels, the hand weaved designs make the ultimate travel companion. Lightweight, cotton soft and highly absorbent, these summer must haves are available in five different colourways.

Turkish towels are famed for their quick drying lightweight properties.

Commenting on the Women’s Wanderlust Collection co-founder Alexa Sutcliffe states

“It’s been three years since we started Passenger. We’ve had such an overwhelmingly positive response to our collections so far and many people asked whether we would develop a Passenger range specifically for women.”

“The brand is in its sixth season this spring and so it felt like the perfect time to finally expand and reveal our first women’s collection. I’m already excited about winter 16 styles.”

Founded back in 2013, Passenger evolved one early sunny September morning on a surf road trip to the southwest coast of England. With a desire to create a style of clothing for people who love exploring, Passenger bridges the gap between style and practicality.

“I wanted to create a brand that unites like-minded people who live for the outdoors, art, photography and adventure,” states co-founder Richard Sutcliffe.

“Passenger aims to inspire individuals and encourage them to embrace their own journey whatever that may be.”
