It’s been with a certain sense of mild amusement that i’ve watched the gentrification of Watergate Bay over the last few years.
Still striving to improve my surfing I jumped on a plane from Indo to Australia touching down in Melbourne. Buzzing from the Indo experience, I was on a mission to get straight back in the water.

Clearing out an old bookcase the other day, I came across ‘Caught Inside’ by Daniel Duane and was reminded quite how important a book it was to me at the start of my surfing obsession.
Some photographers see a lot of the effects created as faults (vignette framing, light leaks, grainy or deeply saturated pictures) but I feel it adds to the artistic approach of my photography. You can see more of my work at www.alisonmcmullon.f2s.com.
