Furnace Response dry glove

By Tom · On April 15, 2015

A brand new cold-water dry glove that’s lighter, warmer and more durable than anything ever created is touting for business on crowdfunding site Kickstarter.

According to the team behind the creation, this is ‘the biggest innovation in surf gloves to date’. Fortunately for us Furnace, the company behind the glove, have a pedigree as this is the second surf glove they have launched into the market. The first was the Response Dry Glove - a grippy, lightweight latex glove that goes over a fleece liner, all sealed at the wrist. Not only does this give improved dexterity over other gloves on the market, it also allows users to paddle for longer without getting fatigued by soggy neoprene gloves.

Queue the second generation of the Response model - the same stretchy material but with improved design for better circulation as well as a bite valve on top for blowing warm air into your gloves and purging it when it gets cold. Plus the glove has an upgraded, high-quality Polartec fleece liner.

The integrated bite valve allows you to blow in warm air and release cool air easily. Try that with your neoprene gloves.

“There is honestly no paddling glove on the market that keeps my hands as warm as the Furnace gloves” said Maine whitewater paddling guide, Taylor Walker
